Sierra Siding was founded on a simple observation: most exterior failures in Northern California are not material failures — they are detailing failures. A premium board installed over a poorly integrated weather barrier still fails. So we built a company around doing the unglamorous part right.

We serve homeowners across the Sacramento Valley, the Sierra foothills, Tahoe, and the Bay Area — each with a distinct climate that demands a distinct exterior strategy. Our work pairs the architectural look homeowners want with the weather and fire performance the region requires.

That depth is not aspirational. Across the service area we coordinate with specific utility, water, and fire agencies — SMUD across Sacramento County, Roseville Electric, the City of Palo Alto Utilities, Modesto Irrigation District, Redding Electric Utility, Healdsburg Electric, Lodi Electric, Liberty Utilities on the California Tahoe side, and PG&E across most of the rest on electric; PCWA, NID, EID, TDPUD, TCPUD, NTPUD, MMWD, San Juan Water District, Cal-Am on the Monterey Peninsula, and city waters across the water map — and with the specific building departments, historic districts, and HOA architectural committees that govern approvals in every city we publish. On wildfire-designated parcels, we build to the standalone 2025 California Wildland-Urban Interface Code that took effect January 1, 2026 (when Chapter 7A was deleted from the Building Code), and we check every project against California's 2025 LRA Fire Hazard Severity Zone map. That framework — not a slogan — is what "climate-correct systems" actually means in our work.

From the first on-site assessment to the final walkthrough, the goal is the same: an exterior that looks premium and performs for decades, delivered with clear communication the whole way.
